Maryse
Allen obtained her license to practice law in 1985. She has
developed expertise in civil litigation through her experience
first as a law clerk to the Deputy Chief Administrative Law
Judge at the United States Department of Labor and then as
a trial attorney in private practice. She has worked on complex
multiparty litigation involving business disputes and has
handled significant legal matters involving family law issues.
Her practice ranges from domestic relations cases with issues
concerning divorce, equitable distribution of property, support
and child custody to civil litigation cases with issues concerning
breach of contract, negligence, fraud and other torts.
Ms. Allen graduated from the University of Virginia with honors.
She obtained her law degree from the University of Richmond's
T.C. Williams School of Law where she was a member of the
Law Review, on the Client Counseling Board and was awarded
the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Distinguished
Trial Advocacy. She is a member of the American Trial Lawyers
Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and
its section on Family Law. She is also a member of the Prince
William Bar Association. |
