HEATHER R. STEELEASSOCIATEHeather completed her Juris Doctorate at George Mason University School of Law, and she is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Heather has experience in litigation in the Virginia General District Courts and Circuit Courts. Her experience also includes appearances on matters in Maryland District Courts and in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, both in the Landlord-Tenant Division and in the Small Claims and Conciliation Branch. Heather has also been involved in contract drafting and review, specifically with regard to representation of commercial and residential landlords. Before deciding to pursue a career in the law, Heather obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree Summa Cum Laude at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a major in Broadcast Journalism and then worked for several television news stations. At GMU Law, she held the position of Editor-In-Chief of the student newspaper, The Docket, and she was also a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and a Student Mentor for incoming 1Ls. Heather graduated from George Mason University School of Law in the top third of her class.
