Sherman Patrick Wins Northern Virginia Building Industry Association’s “Associate of the Year” Award
Sherman Patrick, Land Planner at Compton & Duling, has won the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association's "Associate of the Year" Award for 2010. Mr. Patrick received the award on Saturday evening, January 22, 2011 at NVBIA's annual President's Ball at Landsdowne Resort in Loudoun, Virginia.
Sherman Patrick received the Associates of the Year award for his contributions to the leadership of the organization. Sherman organized several significant efforts of the Prince William Chapter of the NVBIA and coordinated efforts of HomeAid and Women Giving Back in their participation in the Manassas St. Patrick's Day Parade, Haymarket Day, and a presentation before the Board of Supervisors. HomeAid and Women Giving Back are charitable branches of NVBIA that give back to the community by renovating homes and providing essential support to needy families.
The award is presented to one member of the Association on a yearly basis by the NVBIA, a building industry association serving Northern Virginia since 1936. Mr. Patrick is past president of the Prince William Chapter and is currently on the Board of Directors for NVBIA.
